On the sidelines of the UCESA workshop on climate change, a bilateral meeting was held between the Economic, Social and Environmental Council of Morocco and the Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council of Côte d’Ivoire on Thursday, May 19, 2022.
In the presence of Presidents Ahmed Reda CHAMI of Morocco and Eugene AKA AOUÉLÉ of CI, it was discussed the relaunch of cooperation and the establishment of a joint working group.
The President of the Moroccan EESC also gave a presentation on the reforms, vision and prospects of his mandate.

UCESA INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON CLIMATE ACTION IN AFRICA
On Friday, May 20, 2022 at the Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council (CESEC) of Côte d’Ivoire in Abidjan, the UCESA Regional Climate Workshop was held.
This workshop focused on the theme “the challenges of climate change and the responses to be provided for the benefit of African populations”.
The President of the CESEC, Dr Eugène Aka Aouélé, the President of the EESC of Morocco and President of the UCESA, Mr Ahmed Reda Chami, the President of the ESC of Benin, Mr Augustin TABÉ GBIAN, the President of the CESOC of Niger, Mr Malam Maïrou Ligari, and several delegations from other UCESA member countries: Gabon, DRC, Central African Republic, Senegal, etc.
The Government of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire was represented at the opening ceremony by Mr Touré Mamadou, Minister of Youth Promotion, Professional Integration and Civic Service.
