Resignation or removal :
Any member of the union that wishes to withdraw from the Union can do so by addressing a letter of resignation to the President of the Union. Membership of the Union can be lost through resignation or removal. Removal shall be pronounced by the General Assembly
Membership of new members :
Every Economic and Social Council and Similar Institution of Africa that subscribes to the Articles of Association of the Union and applies to be a member through the President of same can be a member of the Union.
